I Held On. I Let Go
When I saw it
I knew it's worth
Instantaneously
So I gripped it tight
With all my might
So tat it couldn't get free
I kept it close
To my chest
And locked it safe away
So that no one
Could deceive me
And try by force to take
And when I'd had
My well earned run
I knew it was time to split
And with my breath
As I exhaled
I let go of it
In letting go
I got much more
Than I had with it close
And so in giving
It turns out
I received the most
